Citrus Green Salad

PREP TIME: 25 Minutes
MAKES: 6 Servings


1 can (19 oz) DOLE® Pineapple Chunks (540 mL)
1 pkg. (10 oz) DOLE European, (8oz) Field Greens or other DOLE Salad Variety (340 g)
1 tablespoon grated orange peel (15 mL)
1 orange, peeled, halved and sliced
½ cup halved and sliced red onion (75 g)
1 cup chopped nuts, toasted (150 g)
½ cup crumbled feta cheese (75 g)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (30 mL)
2 tablespoon balsamic or red wine vinegar (30 mL)


Drain pineapple chunks, reserve 1/4 cup (75 mL) juice.

Combine pineapple chunks, salad blend, sliced orange, onion, nuts and cheese in large serving bowl; set aside.

Stir together reserved juice, orange peel, oil and vinegar in small bowl. Pour over salad just before serving; toss to evenly coat.
